Customer Review: Great camera. Easy to set up. Haven’t bothered with the rear camera yet, but the front one is all I needed. The camera attaches to windshield with a unique method. You stick a special clear plastic film to the glass and the camera attaches easily to that clear film. It makes it so there is a firm footing to hold the camera in place, which is superior to other mounting arrangements I’ve tried. That’s very important. You download an app, format the SD card (that comes with the camera) and just plug the assembly into a cigarette lighter socket. I didn’t go though much of a setup really. When the car is started the camera comes on and records your trips with no intervention. Simple. It records 90 second(?) TF files that you can easily merge together into a single larger TF file (with a DOS copy /b command). Then you can create an MP4 or AVI with a free windows application, “Any Video Converter” to create a single file for the whole trip. I’m sure there are many other options but this one is simple and works very well. I’m also sure you can go overboard with better cameras and setups, but this setup is good quality, inexpensive, easy and sufficient.

Customer Review: I bought 2 of these to use as rear dash cams for my 2 vehicles. I like the small size and fact that it can be rotated for my application since both vehicles have small rear windshields and defroster wires to avoid. The app is very simple and works fine for my needs. Do yourself a favor and buy their own wiring harness if you want to make sure the wake up functions correctly and doesn’t kill your battery while doing so. Only one caveat: Be careful with the sensitivity setting in the app for collision sensing; If you set it too sensitive it will be constantly locking the video and you will hear the voice announcement for same over and over again mile after mile. I moved mine back to about 50% and it doesn’t false at all but I may slowly move it up until I get the false signals again and then move it back slightly. Setting it at max resulted in a false signal about every 5 minutes…. Very annoying. I am guessing that 60% is probably the sweet spot.
