Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice 4G Camera. It is very good for security of your vehicle or to monitor your vehicle while it is being used by someone else. This camera can really give you peace of mind knowing you can always keep track of your vehicle. You can open the app and view live 1080p footage from your cameras at any time.Everything was packaged really nicely and it arrived safe and sound. It was very quick and easy to set up. Being powered by the OBD made installation a breeze and keeps it powered at all times. After you download the app and pair the camera with your phone, you are good to go.When someone comes close to your vehicle the radar detects it and sends an alert to your phone. That allows you to view the camera in live time to see if there is a threat to your vehicle. The radar reaches a good distance and will easily pick up somebody walking close to your vehicle. If something touches your vehicle you will get a vehicle vibration alert also. The vibration alert is very sensitive. I was sitting in the vehicle and turned the radio up. I got an alert because the speakers set off the sensor. The cameras record everything and uploads it to the cloud so even if something happens to your camera, you still have access to the footage. The camera has really good footage at night. You can see everything inside and outside of the vehicle very clearly. The inside camera has very good coverage of the entire inside of the vehicle. The speaker and microphone on the camera work very well. Mine went through my car speakers and it was very easy to communicate with someone. You could easily talk to whoever is driving the vehicle if you needed to give them directions or warn them of something. The built in GPS lets you open the app and see exactly where the vehicle is. It will show the location to you on an interactive map.I am very happy with this camera. Someone could use these to keep track of multiple vehicles. It would be really good security for ride share and delivery vehicles also. The more I use it the more I like it.

Customer Review: I’m very impressed with this car security camera. The video quality is clear, and the live view feature gives me a lot more peace of mind when my car is parked outside. I also like the GPS tracking and motion detection functions, which make it feel much more advanced than a basic dash cam. The setup was easier than I expected, and the app connection worked smoothly. It’s a very practical device for anyone who wants extra security and better monitoring for their vehicle. Overall, it feels well worth the price.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I’ve been using the Vantrue E1 Pro for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The camera is small and doesn’t block my view while driving, but the video quality is excellent sharp 4K footage even in foggy or low-light conditions. I took video in SF in low light foggy day.One feature I really like is the voice control. It’s super convenient to just say the command and have it start recording or take a photo while keeping my hands on the wheel. The mobile app works smoothly for reviewing clips and downloading videos directly to my phone, which saves a lot of time.I also installed the included CPL (polarizing) filter and it really helps reduce reflections from the windshield and makes the image look more vivid and clear, especially when driving along the coast.Overall, the Vantrue E1 Pro feels well built, easy to set up, and perfect for capturing scenic drives or daily commutes. I’ve taken it around San Francisco. Highly recommend it!

Customer Review: Finally found a great 4k dashcam and love it! Smal excellent video day and night! The wifi is solid and super fast. Plenty of settings and easy setup. The app works grat. Easy to download clips superfast. Have not used the voice commands yet so cant comment on that. The anti glare lens cover really works well also. And the Sony cam is great along with the microphone. Lots of settings take your time. Gps works grat also. So happy with this I bought a second one! Great price and super fast shipping! Love it!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I got this dashcam after my car was hit and suffered some damage while parked at a public garage, while I was at work. I’ve been using it for about a month now and have been happy with it overall. The LTE connectivity is definitely the coolest part – I needed a dashcam which would allow me to check my car footage from anywhere using the app, even when the car isn’t running. Please note that while it comes with a AT&T SIM card for free trial period, you’ll need to choose a subscription after it ends (or use your own SIM card with 4G LTE connectivity).Setup was pretty easy based on the instructions in the manual. The OBD cable helped a lot and it took me about 30 minutes to set it up. The dashcam has 2 cameras; one for the road and one for inside the car. The night vision decent and offers a good view, even if the car is parked in a dark spot. The 24-hour parking monitoring and surveillance was extremely handy when I was travelling for work. It automatically records and uploads any incidents to the cloud, so you’d have the necessary evidence for insurance and legal purposes. You’ll need to pay for cloud storage, to use this feature. It comes with a 32GB memory card which also stores video footage. You can purchase a separate memory card with a larger capacity.Two-Way Audio Communication allows you to talk to anyone inside your vehicle remotely via the YBox app. It can come in handy if you want to communicate with passengers on road trips, or check in on someone if you’ve lent them your car.I like the privacy feature which disables both in-car video and audio recording. Additionally you can manually block the cabin camera with the built-in lens cover for added security.I do have a couple of gripes with this dashcam,The video quality is decent, but not true HD. It struggles to capture license plates in the recording.Sometimes the remote connectivity isn’t good and has intermittent failures.Overall, there is some room for improvements but it’s a solid dashcam packed with some really nice extra features and will help you monitor your car.

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. It started off decent. It seemed to detect when people or vehicles approached my car. But over time, I noticed it only captured about 1 out of every 5 events. Hours would go by without any updates. The breaking point was when a car parked extremely close to mine and the camera had no footage of it whatsoever. On top of that, it constantly thinks you’re driving even with the OBD cable connected, then randomly shuts off, overheats, and the video quality is terrible.Installation was simple and the app itself is easy to use. But none of that matters if the core function doesn’t work. It’s honestly useless and not worth the $20 per month subscription. I reached out to support, but they never responded with any real solution to my issues. The device is medium-sized, the features are lacking, and overall it’s just not worth it.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately!Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you. Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.Proof in the pudding:We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too.Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.

Customer Review: For me not knowing what dashcam to get, I think this was a great choice. The small capacity SD card is a letdown but for what you’re paying, it works great. Not cheap, not overpriced. It has come in handy quite a few times. Easy plug in and just suction mount to the window. Great video quality too, it helped my local police locate a stolen vehicle. And no need to worry if you live in cold areas cause it got down to -20°F here and the camera had no issues.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Best 4G dash cam for the price in a small field of 4G/LTE dash cams. I bought this to monitor my convertible when I’m not in it. It has the typical forward facing cam as well as a rear facing cam for the cab – both high def. Regular dash cams can do the same unless they are stolen or trashed prior to synchronizing with your phone. With the 4G connectivity and cloud storage, you’ll always have a record of what’s going on with your vehicle. In addition the company provided me with a flexible trial period with the 4G and cloud storage plans to do a full evaluation. Great product!

The video quality is excellent — crystal clear recordings with sharp details and accurate colors, even in low-light or nighttime driving. This gives me peace of mind knowing I’ll have clear footage if anything unexpected happens on the road.Installation was quick and straightforward, and the compact design doesn’t distract while driving. The wide-angle lens captures plenty of detail from both sides of the road, and the loop recording feature ensures I never run out of storage — old footage is overwritten automatiOverall, this dash camera delivers reliable performance, great video quality, and essential safety features at a fantastic value. Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Purchased with the hardwire kit and CPL lens filter. Watched multiple YouTube videos on the install. Watch the bad ones as well just to get an idea of how NOT to do the install. After preparing myself, tackled the install over the weekend. Easiest part was installing the back camera. My Hyundai Santa FE SEL has a hatchback, and for most that was their hardest part. I guess the videos helped me prepare. The rear camera was installed in less than an hour. Plenty of cable, routed along the top down the passenger side. The harder part was finding the right place to plug the hardware kit for power. Key points (1) install the ground wire first, (2) install the battery wire on a fuse (or empty) spot that is always on, the battery voltage will read on the display box on the adapter, (3) install the other on another fuse preferably for ACC (needs to be OFF when car is off and ON when the car is on), when you get this one attached start the car and verify the box display changes to say ACC on the display instead of the battery voltage. Then route the power wires to the camera and the rear camera connections to the dashcam. The video is great when playing from a computer. 4K all around and the player you get from the website even has a ZOOM feature. I started using the 12-hour time-laps recordings, this takes up a lot of memory on the card so you only get about 2 days for the 128G card they supply. I’ve switched to just using the G-sensors now to turn on when it detects motion (jarring), and record as I am driving.Overall happy with my purchase, there are a few things I wish it had: (1) ability to adjust the delay between frames for the time-lapse feature would make it better at not using a lot of memory, (2) my model seems to record the front and rear with slightly different numbers at the end and the player doesn’t know how to sync up the timestamps in the video when playing back (for the time being I can rename the rear to end in the same numbers as the front to fix), and (3) the manuals are very light on content only explains the features by name but doesn’t go into detail what they mean… example they talk about the G-sensor with settings for Off/Low/Medium/High but don’t describe which is more sensitive… in some languages Low translates to higher sensitivity to movement. Also the instructions on the video player for the computer is very light in content even the phone app has huge untapped potential. With it you can see real-time your path on a map and the video sent to your phone while driving. Could be expanded to supply directions.Great product overall… may update later with more details as I try and research all the features.Even better support! Their people are on top and respond quickly to try and answer your questions. If I wasn’t such a computer geek I’d probably have a lot more questions.

Customer Review: Solid Dash Cam with Great Support and Value -I bought this dash cam not knowing exactly what to expect. The price was right, and the specs matched what I was looking for. After installation, I noticed the camera stayed powered on even after I turned off the engine. I contacted the company, and their customer service responded promptly. The representative explained possible reasons for the issue and offered to send a hardwire kit to resolve it. However, one of the reasons provided was that the cigarette lighter could stay on after engine was turned off, so I looked it up. I discovered that the cigarette lighter in my car remains active for 45 minutes after the engine shuts off. So, the issue wasn’t with the dash cam—it was with my car’s power settings, which I can reprogram. I thanked the customer service rep and let them know the hardwire kit wasn’t necessary. I appreciated their quick and helpful response. The dash cam itself works well and was easy to set up. The suction cup mount is strong, and I really like the touch screen—it makes operation simple and intuitive. My only complaint is the rear camera wiring: there’s no easy way to hide the long wires, and I really wish future products could have a wireless connection to the main camera.Overall, this is a very nice product for its price range. It delivers solid performance, and the customer support was excellent.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Dash Cam With Remote Viewing

Essential Factors We Consider

When selecting the best dash cam with remote viewing capabilities, consider connectivity options like 4G LTE or WiFi. LTE models typically offer more reliable real-time access without depending on local networks. Video quality is crucial—look for cameras offering at least 1080P resolution, with 4K providing sharper detail. Dual or multi-camera setups provide comprehensive coverage, including interior views for rideshare drivers or family safety. Features like GPS tracking, AI motion detection, and parking modes enhance security. Lastly, consider cloud storage availability and subscription costs, as these affect ongoing expenses.

Budget Planning

Dash cams with advanced remote viewing can range from budget-friendly to premium prices. Entry-level models with WiFi remote access are affordable but may lack LTE connectivity. Mid-range options often include LTE and dual cameras, offering better coverage and reliability. Premium models provide 4K resolution, multiple cameras, voice control, and extensive cloud storage. Plan your budget based on how critical continuous remote monitoring is for you, and consider potential subscription fees for cellular service or cloud storage.
