Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I’ve been using this dash cam for a while now, and overall I’m very satisfied with it. The video quality is clear enough to read license plates during the day and remains reasonably sharp at night. The wide viewing angle covers the road well without excessive distortion. Installation was straightforward, and the camera is compact enough not to block my view while driving. It starts recording automatically with the car and loops seamlessly, so I don’t have to worry about storage management. The G-sensor works as expected and locks important clips during sudden braking or impacts. I bought this dash cam mainly for its parking mode, and it has not disappointed. Once hardwired, the camera reliably records any motion or impact around the car. This feature alone gives me much more peace of mind when parking on the street or in public lots. Video quality is clear during the day and still very usable at night, especially for capturing movement and license plates nearby. The G-sensor works well and locks clips when it detects an impact, so important footage doesn’t get overwritten. Power management is also solid—the camera shuts off properly to protect the car battery. I also appreciate that it runs quietly in the background once set up—no constant beeping or distractions. For the price, this dash cam offers excellent value and does exactly what it’s supposed to do: provide reliable evidence and peace of mind on the road. I would recommend this dash cam to anyone looking for a dependable and easy-to-use option.

Customer Review: I’ve been driving Uber and Lyft part-time for about two years. I used to have a cheap dual dash cam, but after a passenger “incident” last month where I didn’t have clear footage inside the cabin, I decided to upgrade to a proper 3-channel setup. I picked the C3 Pro mainly for the three Starvis 2 sensor and the WiFi speed claims. Here is my honest take after using it for a week in my car. The Good: Video Quality: The front 4K is crisp. I reviewed some footage on my PC and could easily read license plates of cars passing by at highway speeds. The interior cam is the real MVP though—the IR night vision kicks in automatically when it gets dark. It’s black and white but super sharp. I can clearly see faces in the back seat even with zero streetlights. The App/WiFi: My old cam took forever to download clips. This one has 5GHz WiFi, and it’s legitimately fast. I downloaded a 1-minute 4K clip to my iPhone in seconds while sitting in the driveway. The app interface is simple enough, nothing fancy but it works. Setup: It came with a 128GB card which was nice (saved me an extra $35). The rear camera cable was long enough for my car, even if you own a big SUV. The “Meh”: The adhesive on the mount is VERY strong. Make sure you position it right the first time because it is a pain to move once it’s stuck. Of course, there are two adhesive pads in the box. Verdict: For the price, getting 3 channels and Starvis 2 is a steal. If you drive for rideshare or just want to record what happens inside the car for safety, this is a solid investment. Just remember to buy the hardwire kit if you want the parking mode to work (I haven’t installed that yet). Highly recommended!!!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility. Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle. Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately! Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you. Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others: They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell. Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added. Proof in the pudding: We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too. Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.

Customer Review: For me not knowing what dashcam to get, I think this was a great choice. The small capacity SD card is a letdown but for what you’re paying, it works great. Not cheap, not overpriced. It has come in handy quite a few times. Easy plug in and just suction mount to the window. Great video quality too, it helped my local police locate a stolen vehicle. And no need to worry if you live in cold areas cause it got down to -20°F here and the camera had no issues.

Customer Review: I’ve had way too many dash cams – I have this need to upgrade whenever I see a new feature or better design, so I’ve had quite a bit of direct experience with dashcams for several years. Always seems justifiable for me as dashcams are one of those things that you hope you never really need, but when you do, you want it to be reliable and high quality. With all the recent scammers out there, I really wanted to upgrade the quality of my dashcam. I did have a 2 channel set with a rear facing camera, but only 1080. Seems like no, more than ever, higher resolution to distinguish license plates is as essential a feature as anything else, so I went with this 4k set. I’m not a ride share driver so I didn’t really see the need for the interior camera, but I see it as a bonus feature as you just never know when you’ll need it. This particular installed really easily, and that’s not just because I’ve grown accustomed to setting these up. Probably took less than 30 minutes, and that includes careful cable management. The supplied cables are plenty long and reach to the rear of my sedan with plenty of length to spare. I resolution is an obvious upgrade, even at night. The app is intuitive, simple but has all the settings available to tweak the essential features and customize the quality. Connecting is a breeze, have not had any connectivity issues. Really glad I went with this set, overall it’s a great value and though I hope I don’t ever have to source from it, it’ll be there when I need it.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I bought this cam as two of my family members bought one and had nothing but good input. The original camera I received from Amazon was problematic and wouldn’t turn on upon car start up. So I reached out to the company directly and Fairy was extremely helpful in. After a few back and forth emails about the problem, they deemed the original defective and sent me a new one. The new one worked perfectly. I enjoyed the company’s communication and commitment to their customers. The camera itself is great. Such an easy set up and installation in the car plus the app is super convenient in accessing the live feed and previous recordings. And the video quality is so good! Day or night, it looks so clear. No issues with it falling. No issues with recordings. No issues with sound or video. Honestly a great dash cam and an even better company.

One of the features I love most is the loop recording and motion detection—it starts recording as soon as any movement is detected. Overall, this dash cam offers reliable performance, high-quality footage, and great value for the price. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add an extra layer of safety and accountability on the road!

Complete Buying Guide for Best Dash Cam With Wifi Connectivity

Essential Factors We Consider

When choosing a dash cam with WiFi connectivity, video quality is paramount. Look for cameras that offer high resolution such as 4K or at least 1080P to capture clear details including license plates and road signs. Night vision technology is essential for recording in low-light conditions. Multi-channel recording offers comprehensive coverage, including front, rear, and interior views. The WiFi feature should support fast transfer speeds (preferably 5GHz) to make downloading videos quick and simple. Usability factors like app interface and ease of installation also matter. Additional features like GPS tracking, parking mode, and G-sensor for impact detection enhance the camera’s utility.

Budget Planning

Dash cams with WiFi connectivity range from budget-friendly single-channel models to premium multi-channel setups. Decide on your needs first: a simple front camera with WiFi will cost less, while 3 or 4 channel dash cams with advanced features and bundled memory cards are more expensive. Consider the cost of accessories such as hardwire kits for parking mode. It’s wise to invest in a dash cam that offers a good balance of video quality, features, and ease of use within your budget. Checking reviews and warranty coverage is also recommended to ensure value for money.

Final Thoughts

Investing in the best dash cam with WiFi connectivity is a smart move for any driver who values safety and wants easy access to footage. With wireless connectivity, you can quickly review and share videos without hassle. Prioritize high-resolution cameras with reliable night vision and consider multi-channel models for full coverage. Q: Do all WiFi dash cams include GPS tracking?

A: Not all models include GPS. GPS is a separate feature that tracks your driving location and speed, which some dash cams offer for enhanced evidence and trip logging.

Q: Can WiFi dash cams work without an app?

A: Most WiFi dash cams require a companion app to access footage wirelessly. However, you can usually still access videos via the memory card on a computer if you prefer not to use the app.

Q: Is parking mode available on all WiFi dash cams?

A: Parking mode is common but not universal. Some dash cams require additional hardwire kits for 24/7 parking surveillance to protect your vehicle when parked.
